About Us

The Anchorage Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has been a fixture in the Anchorage community since its chartering. We are committed to community service.

We believe that helping each other as brothers, is part of our creed. By helping those who are less fortunate, we move closer to living up to our beliefs and function as responsible members of our community.

The Anchorage Alumni Chapter sponsors and supports a number of programs designed to give back to the community, including distribution of food baskets to needy families in the Anchorage community during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Our mission is to enhance and sustain a bond of brotherhood based on diverse skill sets among the membership, camaraderie and unique collaboration, and to serve our local communities proactively with programs and activities that will specifically have a positive impact on African American youth and the community at large.

Our vision is to be a formidable participant and advocate for change in our community and remain active in creating and supporting cultural and educational enhancement programs. We also actively participate in social, political and economic awareness activities through dedicated service and by fostering effective relationships with other community organizations, and partnerships in the public and private sectors at the state and local levels of government.
